Making travel plans involves many steps. Besides the basic car, plane, and hotel reservations, there are certain airport procedures that need to be considered. Baggage

There is a specific size and weight limit allowed for carry-on luggage. Some airlines charge for checked luggage of any size, while others only charge if the checked baggage is considered to be oversized. Liquids

Taking along items that are liquid, such as; mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, is also limited. There is a 2 ounce limit with just about every airline. Each bottle cannot hold any more than 2 ounces and no outside water bottles are allowed to be carried on.

Computer

Most people rarely go on vacation without their laptop computer. These are usually carried in a personal carrying case, but must be removed from the case when going through security. Be prepared to remove the laptop from its case when it comes time to send it through the x-ray machine.

Travel plans can easily become less pleasant by not being prepared for any of the above instances.
